‘I Had No Intention of Owning a Prohibited Weapon and I Am Not Happy’
- Saltwire (Opinion), By Paul Smith

- Comment: People like this AREN’T our allies … yet. Good for him for cluing in partly, but:
- He wants politicians and bureaucrats to have power to choose what he’s allowed to own, and to criminalize and confiscate.
- He’s just upset that he got targeted, and that he didn’t get paid.
- He’s selfish in a bad way. Didn’t care about the issue until he got added to the list.
- Acts like the Liberal attacks are a policy novelty, doesn’t realize they express an anti-freedom ideology and culture that have been going on forever.
- On the bright side: The person may have an alignment of political interests for the next election. He is from Newfoundland, and if his sentiment is broad enough among voters, it may signal a pause in the province’s addiction to the Liberal Party of Canada.
