TheGunBlog.ca — Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of the Liberal Party today named David McGuinty to lead his attacks against government-licensed gun owners and businesses, and installed an anti-gun activist as his associate.

Trudeau appointed McGuinty, an Ottawa-based member of parliament, as Minister of Public Safety.

His duties include managing Liberal efforts to criminalize honest citizens, destroy our safety, survival, and sporting firearms, and weaken safety and security.

  • McGuinty replaces Dominic LeBlanc, whom Trudeau moved to Finance Minister on December 16.
  • He’ll oversee organizations including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, which works with the Liberals to suppress firearm users, destroy the firearm industry and eliminate gun culture.
  • He’s the fifth minister of mass firearm confiscations since the Liberals took office in 2015.
    • 1. Ralph Goodale
    • 2. Bill Blair
    • 3. Marco Mendicino
    • 4. Dominic LeBlanc
    • 5. David McGuinty

Trudeau Names Rachel Bendayan as Associate

Trudeau, Canada’s most-influential anti-gun campaigner, also named Rachel Bendayan, an anti-firearm activist MP in Montreal, as Associate Minister of Public Safety.

Two weeks ago, she helped introduce the Liberals’ expanded criminalizations and confiscations targeting government-licensed firearm owners and businesses.
